About the Role
The International Symphony Orchestra is seeking a detail-oriented bookkeeper to manage financial records, payroll, and compliance with Canadian financial business laws.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks

  • Process payroll through Wagepoint

  • Manage expense submissions via Dext

  • Conduct online banking and transactions through RBC PayEdge

  • Ensure compliance with Canadian Financial Business Laws

Qualifications

  • Secondary degree in accounting, bookkeeping, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience preferred

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Wagepoint, Dext, RBC PayEdge, Microsoft Suite

  • Must pass a background check

Join our events team and help create an exceptional guest experience at concerts, fundraisers, and special occasions. This role offers flexible, per-service scheduling with occasional nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Serve beverages at concerts, special events, and fundraisers

  • Follow Smart Serve and food safety guidelines

  • Maintain a clean, organized work area

  • Provide excellent, friendly customer service

Qualifications

  • Smart Serve certification required (Ontario)

  • Food Handler’s certification encouraged

  • Previous bartending experience preferred

  • Must be personable, professional, and team-oriented

  • Must pass a background check (Ontario law requirement for positions with potential contact with vulnerable persons)

About the Role
Help preserve the ISO’s music library and assist with its organization, cataloging, and distribution. This role supports both the International Symphony Orchestra and the International Symphony Singers.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, catalogue, and preserve music library materials

  • Distribute music to musicians and singers

  • Assist with digital recordings for archival and distribution purposes

  • Work within current digital library platforms

  • Research and possibly implement improved systems

Qualifications

  • Musical background required

  • 2+ years of librarian or library assistant experience preferred

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional nights and weekends

  • Must pass a background check (Ontario law requirement for positions with potential contact with vulnerable persons)
